Fees
The following fees are charged to each student enrolling in the Medical Transcription program:
Tuition: $5,000
Books/Materials: $900 (includes shipping)
Application Fee: $100
Record Archiving Fee: $15 (guarantees electronic retention of your transcript and graduation certificate for 55 years)

Miscellaneous Fees
Extensions - Students have access to the course materials, technical support and student support for 12 months. Extensions are offered in four-month increments, $325 for each 4 months. A maximum of 3 extensions may be purchased, access to the program and support services cannot extend beyond a total of 24 months. (Extensions of access to the Benchmark KB materials cost an additional $250 for one year, for those students using KB who wish to extend.)
Final Exam Rewrites - The first attempt at the final exam is included in the course tuition fee. Second and third attempts are $50 each. The final exam can be taken a maximum of three times.
NSF Fees - There will be a $25 fee for any cheque returned to us by the bank (for any reason), and a $15 fee for any scheduled credit card charge that is declined.
New Transcripts and Certificates - Students are provided with an official copy of their transcript and certificate upon program completion. An unofficial copy of a transcript or certificate will be emailed free of charge upon request (no more than once a year). Ordering an official transcript to be mailed to any address in North America costs $15. Ordering a replacement certificate to be mailed to any address in North America costs $25. Additional charges will apply for addresses outside North America. |
